About Gwennie's Getaways
Gwennie’s Getaways is a charity based in Slaithwaite, Huddersfield. We provide families that are living with or affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia with a respite break at one of our caravans based at Primrose Valley, Filey and Marton Mere, Blackpool.
We have the use of five beautiful static caravans, four of which are based at Primrose Valley, a seaside resort on the East Coast in Filey and one at Marton Mere Holiday Park, near Blackpool.
Each caravan is double glazed and has a full central heating system keeping them warm and cosy in the cooler months. The retreats are fully equipped with the usual home comforts allowing for a comfortable and restful stay.
